Office manager
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all daily operations of the office
- Ensure smooth functioning of internal processes and workflows
- Perform general administrative tasks, document management, and archiving
- Oversee personnel management, onboarding, and employee coordination
- Handle operational HR tasks, including salary and bonus management
- Collaborate with other departments to align local office operations
- Organize meetings, internal events, and ensure effective internal communication
- Coordinate recruitment for local staff and freelance collaborators
- Manage vendor relationships and company payments
- Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and internal policies
- Report directly to upper management and act as the key liaison for the local team
Requirements
- Fluent in Hungarian and English (spoken and written)
- Proven experience in a similar role (office management, HR, or operations)
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proactive and independent approach to problem-solving
- Solid understanding of financial processes and payroll
- Computer literacy (especially MS Office Suite)
- Experience in working with cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Category B driving license
Nice-to-have
- Additional language skills
- Prior experience in HR or accounting systems
- Familiarity with translation/localization industry (not required, but a plus)
